Dear all

I am sure you have probably heard the news that George Portman's business partner and "adopted" Brother was sadly killed in a motorcycle accident on the week end. Big Mike as we all liked to call him will be sadly missed and we ask all riders this week end who had an affiliation to him , and even if you didnt, to wear a black band around your sleeves in memeory of one of South African Motorcycling's biggest supporters, pun intended.

If you arent riding and would like to join the family and extended riding family at the German Club in Edenvale on Friday afternoon, i know he will be there in spirit and the wake will surely be one fitting of his enthusiasm. Starts at 16h00.

Rest in peace big man! And send Barry (#7) our regards beacause i am sure he will be the first one you seek out in Biker's Heaven!
