EmTek Racing News - 2006

30/12/2006 - Year in Review - Regionals 2006 (Stewart Christie)

Good day

The racing season starts in February 2007, I thought I would give you a run down on how I did in 2006. The colour of the bike is now black with white numberboards, makes it a lot easier, only need black duct tape!! Out of 10 races I made 8, missing one through injury and 1 through mechanical failure. We raced at Midvaal, Phakisa, Zwartkops, Kyalami and Polokwane. I scored 33 points and came 21st in the Northern Regions Superbike category. I’m hoping for good health, good luck and a touch of speed in 2007.

I’ve attached some photos from 2006. Col has been enjoying her 636 so much, there are 2 photo’s of her. In 2007 she will be competing in the ladies national Supermoto challenge, I will keep you updated. She completed the California Superbike School Supermoto School and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I would like to thank Colleen for her support and understanding, Alain for all the extra work he has done and for his support, Darryl for working on the bike, Ricky for his advice and help with tyres, Joe for his help and riding advice, Paul for all his help and advice, Ian and Jason for being good pit mates, and everyone else for their support.

Although I am not a front runner, for me I am living a dream.

All the best for you all in 2007, LIVE YOUR DREAMS!!!
