01/09/2003 - EmTek Shop Opens

EmTek has recently acquired the assets of a motorcycle dealer, and with these assets have opened up a bike shop in Alrode.

Also joining the team is master technician Ricky Morais and Rui Senra. Having obtained the services of these 2 prize possessions, we are confident of delivering the best service and highest quality workmanship currently available in the marketplace.

Ricky will supply the technical expertise, Rui will supply the spares, Gilbert and Andy will contribute business accumen to the mix. Also in the team is Andrew (Snr) who with his transport, mechanical and client service background will supply much needed information to the shop and the clients.

All the above members are also shareholders in the business.

Initially we intend to start small avoiding the pitfalls experienced by some of the bike shops. Our services include spares, race preparation, general service and maintenance and accident repairs. Once established, we will be looking to relocate to larger premises where we will expand to include bike and accessories sales.
